Here's my new study schedule:

Mon.-Fri.:
Japanese 3 hours (@ work w/ small breaks)
Verbal GRE 2.5 hours (@ home)
Quantitative GRE 3 hours (@ home)

Sat.:
Verbal GRE 3.5 - 4 hours (including vocab)
         Quantitative: 1.5 - 2 hours

Sun.
                Japanese 3 - 4 hours

I'll worry about the written portion during my last month of study. I'm more confident about my performance on the written section than I am my performance on any of the others. I'll just have to put in as much effort as I can muster and make the GRE my bitch when the time comes; bottom line.

If I stick to the  above schedule then I'll reward myself with a L'arc media binge every Saturday evening. My sister said that she'd reward me with books and video games as well.

Anywo, I'll be taking the actual exam within the next couple of months. Wish me luck!

MCAT practice exam
forlorn

I took (or at least I attempted to take) a practice MCAT exam... -__-'

Verbal reasoning: Pretty darn good, but not spectacular

Physics: Having taken it for the very first time I kicked ass on it

Biological sciences: I kicked ass on that too of course ^__^b (I do have a degree in Biology yah know)

Organic and General Chemistry: ....-__-' not so darn hot. I hate Organic Chemistry. After practicing for a whole year I'm still nervous and gittery about that section of the test. Let's just say that I scored so low on that section that my overall score was like a 22 -__-. I know that I know the stuff. But I also know that Organic chemistry is my weakest subject (yes, even I have a weak subject), so I automatically become intimidated whenever I see those questions/problems on paper. When I checked the answers and explaination to each question I was like "Why didn't I do it this way? I know that I should have but why didn't I XD?! That was so stupid XD!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

*Sigh* I'll take another one on Friday. Now it's 2 hour of Japanese language (self study). I've already completed two "adjective usage" books and 1 big sentence structure book. Kanji is kicking my ass though because I don't have much time to study it. I guess I'll have to push it up to 10 kanji a day now *haiiiiiiiiii ^__^b!*

Found another nihongo teacher ^__^v
forlorn
[info]shoujo22
I just found another Japanese tutor! I'm pretty thrilled at this point because I'll be doing something that I actually love to do for the first time in like...three years! I called the literacy volunteers center at my old university last Friday and the lady was like "Well, I'd have to ask someone on Monday because that's usually when we have class." So after hearing that, I kind of figured that I wouldn't find anyone. Dunno why I thought such a thing seeing as how I was pretty successful the first time around *shrugs*. That's how I met my first teacher afterall (whom I adored ^^v). So anyway, early Monday I didn't hear anything...maybe because I was at my day job...but yeah. I was just like "Damn it...I knew it...". So around 8pm or so while I was on break at my other job I called home. You know, to check up on stuff, see how my sis and dad are doing. Especially dad because he has a stupid lung infection (poor dad T__T). So I was having a little conversation with my dad and at some point he goes "Oh yeah. Somebody called for you about an hour after you left for work. Something about...helping you move to Japan or something?"

Me ----> Um. What? o__O??...Oh! Oh yeah. I called about a tutor. So they called around 7 o'clock?

Dad ----> No. They called about an hour before you left this morning...for your day job.

Me ----> Thanks dad -__-'

*Sigh* Really wish he would have said something earlier. I could have met my tutor by now. But it's cool though because dad's not feeling well. I never get angry or frustrated with my dad. He's a great man yah know ^__~.

Why do I go off topic so much -__-'? Anyway, his name is erm, Yassumasa I believe. Yeah, it's a guy this time. Hopefully I can work as well with this guy as I did with my first teacher. The best part is that he works right here in the same research facility as me. He's a scientist and that's so kick as if I must say ^__^v. I'll most certainly ask him how he would like to be addressed. My last teacher insisted on being called "Kaori-sensei". I would much rather have called her Ms. Kaori, but she wasn't having that ^__^'.

Well peeps, I'm keeping my fingers crossed XD
