I'm almost certain that the only thing even comes close to "southern-sounding" that ever leaves my mouth is the word "I." Yes, at times it does indeed come dangerously close to sounding like "ah" instead of "I." Other than that, it always floors people when I tell them that I was born and raised here in the south. "You don't have a southern accent!" is usually their response. But yeah, I guess I have a bit of a southern-twang when I'm excited about something :).

In other news, a guy in our research facility stopped me today on my way to the lab. He said "You're going to Japan this year, right?" shoujo22 --> nods. "Well, this is a calling card that I bought when I went home for a few weeks. You can have it since I won't be back for a while."

Dr. Utsuki is well known for his ill-temper and stern attitude. I couldn't freaking believe that he just did something so nice out of the blue. But then again, he's always been pretty nice to me and my co-worker/the new grad-student in our lab. *shrugs* That was weird, but I did find my voice after the initial shock wore off and managed a raspy "thank you." O__O WEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRD-AAAAH!
