All I can say is that China put on the most beautiful Olympic opening ceremony that I've ever had the pleasure of viewing. Words can't express how grand the whole thing actually was.... It was just amazing.

I think my icon sums it up, however.

I know! They did an awesome job.

I totally thought that the motion of those blocks were all computerized, but people were doing that. Holy shit!

Amazing is the perfect word. It was such a beautiful cultural expression and appreciation. To be perfectly honest with you, there were times I felt close to tears watching it.

I did too. My goodness, did you see the 2008 Tai Chi matsters? They were all in synch and just so graceful and fluid. And those blocks! They didn't use computers, just people! The lighting of the torch gave me goosebumps too.

I just can't get over it.
