Just a couple more weeks until my "Threatre of Kiss" dvd is shipped out to me. I'm really looking forward to it.

I started reading 'Only the Cat Knows' by Marian Babson today. Usually, books written in first person make my stomach churn; but Ms. Babson has been doing a marvelous job of keeping my little food processor at ease. So far so good. Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy' is also an excellent read.

I sincerely enjoy the Olympic games and all that they stand for, but I must also admit that about 15% of my tuning in every night can be attributed to the excessive near-nakedness of the numerous men's swim teams. Ryan Lochte...wow young man. Wow...

So it looks like I've firmly decided on Epidemiology and Biostastics as my top master's degree choices. My hope is to work on my Ph.D. at Hopkins once I complete my master's. That'd be a pretty bold move on my part, seeing as how competitive their Public Health program is, but what's life without risks and making gutsy moves? I've got to try. I mean, the worse that they could tell me is 'No', right? And I really love the prospect of becoming a full-time scientist! It's full speed ahead from here on out folks.

My sister and I are thinking about taking a trip to Venice within the next year and a half or so. I wonder if it's worth it. I mean, I've always wanted to go, but aside from that fact I don't have any other reason to go there. Florence and Milan are beginning to look better and better right now.  Perhaps we'll visit Canada soon too. Who knows?
